Benidorm to Altea is a nice day out, not just for the beach but also it’s stunning Spanish charm.
Just a short bus ride from Benidorm, Altea has a stunning backdrop of mountains and just like Benidorm, it’s very own micro climate.
Altea is the complete opposite of Benidorm, you have that authentic Spanish feel to the town, and although visited by many tourists, it still has that Spanish vibe that you may not find in the Benidorm New Town.
There are plenty of shops to visit when you have a Benidorm to Altea day trip.
A great selection of restaurants and bars with plenty of Spanish cuisine to sample.
One of the most popular attractions in Altea is the Virgin de Consuelo. This church, you cannot miss with it’s Blue dome top, has stunning views overlooking Altea.
Along Altea promenade, which has recently been built and still has that ‘new’ feel to it, there are a range of bars, hotels and restaurants.
It’s nice walk along here and at the end you reach a small port with excellent views over the Mediterranean Sea.
