I don’t think many of us have tried the Benidorm to Tabarca boat trip, or even heard of it, but if you are looking to fill a day then this might be for you.
One thing we will say right of the bat that this is not a cheap day out. With boat tickets 30 Euros for an adult and when you are on Tabarca Island, you have nowhere else to go, and the vendors know this.
We do recommend taking a picnic and stock up on soft drinks before heading to Tabarca Island on the boat.
There are restaurants, cafes and bars on Isla de Tabarca, chicken nuggets and chips will set you back around 10 Euros!
The Island though is a place of history and natural beauty. The beaches are mostly rocky but past this you find the sandy ones.
The waters are clear and great for snorkeling. Around Tabarca Island you will see the history and the museum is worth a visit.
It’s not a big Island with around 400 people who live there and a hotel for those who want to spend a few nights there.
Visiting the Tabarca Island is one attraction but the boat trip is another and worth the price. You set sail from Benidorm Port heading along the coast.
Passing Campello, Villajoyosa and making a stop at Alicante. On the boat trip to Tabarca Island you also get some free time in Alicante which has a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
