This time of year is normally cold throughout Europe and the Benidorm weather in December is no exception.
Although not all doom and gloom we do get some nice days and days where it feels like summer in those sun traps.

We start to see the cold temperatures now in Benidorm with highs of around 17c.
More cloudy days than sunny days but when we get a clear day, in a suntrap it is quite pleasant.
Lows in December are normally around 7c and at night this can feel a lot colder than what it really is.
We do see some rainfall throughout December in Benidorm with an average of 4-5 days for the month.

Jeans, jumper and a jacket are the best clothing to bring. T-shirts for the day if it is clear and the sun is out but as the evening kicks in you will need that extra layer.

December in Benidorm is still a lot of fun. You can normally get some great deals on flights and hotels and the general atmosphere in December is very festive.
Many of the main nightclubs will be closed but many of the bars are still open for business.
With it being the Christmas period we have the Christmas markets on, New years eve fireworks and you also get to celebrate the new year in both Spanish time and UK time.
Benidorm is less bustling this time of year and with that you get that local feel to the place.
Bars and pubs are like those back home and with less holidaymakers here than in summer you can wander around and get a real feel for the place.
