Just a stones throw away from Levante beach but close enough to feel the sea breeze whilst drinking a good pint of Guinness the Bodhran Irish Bar Benidorm is one of those gems in the resort that must be tried once just to see what it’s all about. It has all the qualities of a beach front bar, sports bar, live music venue and good quality food, which is served fresh and piping hot!
The Bodhran Irish Bar Benidorm has a good outside seating area where you can see Levante beach, away from the rowdiness of the main beach bars but still within distance to enjoy the seafront. Inside there is plenty of seating and has that authentic feel like you would find in a traditional Irish pub. If you are a sports fan then you will love it here. With plenty of big screen TV’s and an atmosphere friendly and welcoming it’s the place to be for those big sporting events.
The food at the Bodhran Irish Bar Benidorm is second to none. You will find a menu with your breakfasts, steaks, burgers and what you will find anywhere in Benidorm but at the Bodhran the food speaks for itself. With traditional Irish food available and dishes like boiled bacon and cabbage freshly prepared and served piping hot and a very good pint of Guinness to compliment the dish, whatever you fancy to eat the Bodhran no doubt has it available!
Not only have you got a great Irish bar with the beachfront on the doorstep, great food and plenty to keep the sports fans happy but the Bodhran Irish Bar Benidorm has live entertainment to add to it’s list of character. You are not going to find lady Gaga doing a tribute act here but good Irish acts. The music is fun and before you know it you will be singing and clapping along, a great in Benidorm it has to be said.
The bar is child friendly but does get busy when the sports are shown and weekends can fill up pretty quick. The Bodhran has wheelchair access and plenty of room inside and outside to cater for those with mobility issues. Overall a great bar with fantastic staff and an atmosphere you will only find in a Irish Bar!

We stayed here after a walk around the market Wednesday and it was great!
We both had the Southern Fried Chicken burger and fries and it was well prepared and tasted amazing.
We were told that there was a little wait for the food because it was very busy but I felt that we did not have to wait long.
The decoration of the hostel is really nice and the food was not too expensive either. We’d definitely!
Super pub
There were a few times when we spend Benidorm. The food is delicious, with very hot and plentiful. The staff is very polite and keen to help. I recommend if you visit Benidorm in this excellent Irish pub. – Kevin from Glasgow.
